Network (IP) Recording - Video Decoders

Pelco video decoders convert previously compressed digital data to analog signals. The video and audio analog signals received over an IP network are then played on a monitor or recorded on other analog devices, including digital video recorders (DVRs). The signals can also be transported to analog systems such as matrix switches. Pelco video decoders provide digital to analog conversion for up to four digital video streams (depending on model).

Pelco video encoders convert video and analog inputs into digital data using Pelco data compression technology. The devices transport the digital data over an IP network to Pelco recording and live viewing devices. Pelco video encoders are available in single-channel and multi-channel options (up to 16 channels). They support NVR300 and Endura systems.

Network (IP) Recording - User Interfaces

Pelco user interface devices display both live and recorded digital video data. These products address the œview side requirement of Pelco IP network systems. Live data is received directly from one or more video sources, such as video encoders or IP cameras. Recorded data is received from network video recorders (NVRs). Users can view video from a variety of locations, both on-site or off-site, either by IP network or web. Video can be viewed on NVR300, Digital Sentry, and Endura systems.
