Lenses -Varifocal Lenses
Pelco offers a large selection of varifocal lenses. Lenses are available with adjustable zoom for a large range of focal lengths. Unlike a zoom lens, a varifocal lens does not maintain focus when zoomed.
The lens at installation is set for optimum field of view. Pelco Day/Night(D/N) corrected lenses correctly focus visible and infrared(nonvisible) light, solving the problem of "focus shift" for cameras with true day/night capability(switching between color and black-white modes by mechanically removing the camera's IR filter). D/N-corrected lenses should also be considered when using day/night cameras.
